The new year phobia is here. I getting to scare this festi
It not even daybreak and my mum drag me down from bed to go market at her. I look at the time, oh fark- 4am. I wana cry ar, this few days have been torturing. Have to carry stuff, pack stuff, clean room and also have to be my mum PA(personal assistant).
No choice la, since she buying lots of stuff which is difficult for her to carry, and being a good filial son. I just close my eyes and follow her.
4am.....So many people is still in lala land, where the hell got people go market so de early.

Fark, aunties are everywhere at the market. Oh man. Busy choosing and pushing one another.

The Battle Of The Aunties!

Don’t ever underestimate these aunties.

  1. They are quick/fast.

Ø Whenever a new load of veggie or seafood came, they are always the first to know and get there.

  1. They are rough.

Ø They will always use the almighty palm and bulky fleshy elbow to push the way through

  1. They are sturdy

Ø In the queued, no matter how hard the pushing, these aunties will remain steadfast and don’t allow others to cut in

  1. Their mental calculation are A grade

Ø They can calculate without a calculator and list out all the prices of the stuff.

  1. Part-time paparazzi

Ø They will talk and talk non-stop what happening these days

And so, poor me, I always sandwich between these aunties and kana eat their elbow. I’m too innocent to push them back and they take advantage of me.

But nevertheless, I learnt a lot from these aunties. By hook or by crook, they will get the things they want. Never give up.

They are surely an iconic figure of Singapore. SINGAPORE AH SOH
